Heavily armed soldiers and military vehicles are deployed all over Istanbul and low-flying military jets could be heard overhead.
Tanks and armored vehicles have been posted outside Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport. All flights from Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport have been canceled.
